 It looks like it's sunxi-kernel related - I got that goblin on allwinner
 H3 (orange pi) with debian.
 I've just posted the issue on the linux-sunxi mailing list along with
 strace log. Hopefully folks out there know more on what's happening.

 On OpenWRT I've tested it under trunk, commit hash
 506df7fc6a449f80b2bc0e9c2a13eed802aea30d + patch from the following issue:
 https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/20302

 In the following configs:
 gcc 4.6.x uclibc and musl
 gcc 4.8.x uclibc and musl

 I can't post dmesg log right now - will try to fetch it some time later,
 but I can tell that there was nothing usb related there. It's likely that
 this issue is present in other allwinner targets.
