#20946: Meraki MR12 intermittently loses LAN connectivity

--------------------------+---------------------------------------
I have a Meraki MR12 running OpenWrt. Currently on trunk build R47488 but
this issue has been around for as long as I've been using this device (I
 first started with build R46682).

Intermittently I will lose the ability to communicate with the device over
the LAN port (eth0 - this is bridged with the wireless radio). When this
happens I can no longer ping the device nor access SSH etc. Wireless
devices can see the SSID still being advertised but cannot connect, I
assume partly because I handle DHCP and DNS elsewhere on my network so
with the LAN not transmitting data there is no way for a wireless device
 to function.

It occurs intermittently - sometimes it'll work fine for 2 weeks, other
times it will play up 3 times in 3 days.

The Meraki is not heavily utilised, there is only 1 ipad and 2 mobile
 phones that connect to it.

The only way to resolve the issue is to power cycle the device. It is
powered via POE so I pull the network cable out of the switch to do this.
I've tried different switch ports, a POE injector and a plug pack, it's
 not power related.

If you need specific logs collected etc, please let me know how to collect
what you need and I'll be happy to run through for you.

 Thanks,
 Dave
