The DMA stuck check was not applied to AR7241 because it works around a
bug specific to AR7240. Not sure if it could help with your issue on
AR7241, you could give it a try.
The descriptor splitting is a workaround for a throughput issue on AR71xx,
it should not be necessary on other soc types.
