#21809: the scammer hopes you will do is pay

The scam is that the person inquiring about boarding sends a fake cashiers
check, which I verified is fake with a phone call to the bank (Franklin
Mint Federal Credit Union), Media, PA. The bank officer said they had over
30 phone calls on these checks in the last 6 months. What the scammer
hopes you will do is pay the shipper before the
[http://www.fastscamalert.com/cellology-scam/ Cellology Scam] cashiers
check has had time to clear. Unless you have verified the check is good
you will be out any money you have paid the shipper. PS, I looked up the
address of the sender and there is actually a house at the return address.
So it all looks good but still means nothing related to the authenticity
