 I did some research.  I am using the brcmsmac driver.  According to this
 page, the brcmsmac driver does not yet support hardware encryption.  That
 means you better stick with b43 (which appears to only support HW
 encryption when using CCMP), or the Broadcom-wl driver.  Unfortunately I'm
 using 802.1x for authentication, so I can't use the Broadcom-wl driver.  I
 got the b43 working at 5% cpu, but it doesn't support 802.11n.  Better
 than nothing I suppose.
