I had a "non-standard" md5sum in /usr/local/bin with no version number,
and not sure how it got installed in the first place.
With the md5sum installed with Ubuntu system at /usr/bin (version 8.21)
the build is progressing past earlier failure.
We can close this ticket. Only upside from trying to bug this development
environment issue is got a better insight into openwrt build system
