the only places where either rt73-usb of rt73-pci are referenced, are
found in
https://dev.openwrt.org/browser/trunk/package/kernel/mac80211/Makefile
And it is always rt73-usb or rt73-usb-firmware
The rt73-pci-firmware in
https://dev.openwrt.org/browser/trunk/package/firmware/linux-
firmware/mediatek.mk looks indeed erroneous
