That was attempted to be fixed by r48276
but that was faulty, discussion at https://lists.openwrt.org/pipermail
/openwrt-devel/2016-January/039196.html
so it was reverted by r48456
The location of the caldata_backup partition is problematic, as it is in
between the firmware and the unused reserved partitions:
