Comment (by vophatechnicus@…):

I do havenearly the same problem with a Hornet UB running 15.05.1 (even
 with a snaphsot build).

 Only difference is as followed:

If i connect a USB Device (Bluetooth USB Key) directly to the Port,
nothing happens until i install kmod-usb-ohci. Then the follwoing Errors
 occur:

 [ 155.550883] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 156.390892] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 157.230939] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 158.070922] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
[ 158.699800] usb usb1-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
 [ 158.760933] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 159.660960] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 160.500962] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 161.340977] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 162.180992] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
[ 162.809859] usb usb1-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
 [ 162.871004] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 163.771021] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 164.611025] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 165.451051] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145
 [ 166.291043] ehci-platform ehci-platform: port 1 reset error -145

If i connect a bus powered USB2 Hub to the device and then connect my USB
Device (Bluetooth USB Key) to that USB Hub, everything works absolutley
 fine.
So i dont think this is a hardware issue.
