As a temporary workaround, downloads.openwrt.org is accessible through
HTTP.
I used a new firefox profile to avoid redirection because of browser
memorisation (Though is does not work with forum since there is a 302
Moved).
Let's Encrypt might actually be a fine answer even with the shorter
validity but it needs some initial work therefore it may add a slight
delay before resolution.
Hope the admins are not on holidays yet.
