I am successfully using the Linksys WRT54GL/White Russian with a
wireless camera (Trendnet TV-IP110W). However, there is an unfortunate
glitch that is critical for me: the wireless link does not get
reestablished between the Linksys and the Trendnet after a power outage
but I have to power-cycle the Trendnet one more time after the Linksys
comes up. Even if I backed the Linksys up with a UPS, I really need to
get the link reestablished automatically in all situations.

I have contacted Trendnet but they are convinced it's something on the
Linksys's side. In fact, I can't prove them wrong. I have performed this
simple test in various setups: power-cycle the router and see if the
link comes back up. I have come up with this compatibility matrix:

    Client Router Encryption Result

    Windows OpenWRT WPA2 works
    Axis camera OpenWRT WPA2 works
    Trendnet OpenWRT unencrypted works
Trendnet OpenWRT WPA1 does not work
Trendnet OpenWRT WPA2 does not work
    Trendnet Trendnet WPA2 works
    Trendnet WRT54GL native WPA1 works

The results suggests something to be wrong between the "nas" program and
the Trendnet. However, since both the "nas" program and the "wl" driver
are proprietary, I can't right away come up with a way to trace the
message exchange between OpenWRT and the camera.

I will appreciate your suggestions.
