Hi, Just answering this myself in case it helps anyone else: This happened me before too.
The trick was to disable the majority of the perl modules (which I didn't need anyway but I had just included, rather than excluded, the perl modules by default). There must be a perl module thats automatically including the problem module (perlbase-db-file) even though I not selected that module. Anyway I've now got a successful build again which is good news Derek On Tue, October 7, 2008 2:42 pm, Derek C wrote: > Hi all, > > > I'm sure I had this problem before (a month ago maybe) but it went away > somehow. > > I've been doing a new openwrt (SVN) "make world V=99" build - I'm trying > to get xorg working on a ALIX geode board. > > It tries do build lib/auto/DB_File and then fails with "version.c:30:16: > error: db.h: No such file or directory". > > > I also tried untagging the "perlbase-db-file" and "perlbase-db" options > in Lanuages->Perl but it still keeps trying to build them during the make > world. > > Does anyone know how to get around this problem? > > > thanks, > > Derek > > > > -- > Derek C > In Ireland > > > _______________________________________________ > openwrt-users mailing list [email protected] > http://lists.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users > > -- Derek C In Ireland _______________________________________________ openwrt-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users
