as a demo of openwrt i'm going to give a bunch of folks locally in the near future, i want to show two things:
1) how to install the downloadable 8.09-rc2 image on a linksys WRT54GL (trivial), and 2) how to start from scratch and build that flashable image ideally, i'd like to have the image that pops out of the build process match the downloadable image exactly -- that being openwrt-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx. can i assume that if i grab the source tarball http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/8.09_RC2/kamikaze_8.09_rc2_source.tar.bz2 that that will have everything i need, including the config info used to create those downloadable images? in short, does that tarball contain all of the config info i need to reproduce the existing downloadable image, byte for byte (or close enough to it)? thanks. rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
