Folks,

Picked up a few Ubiquity routerstations. Don't (yet) have a jtag
cable for the board, but want to change the default load. Built
openwrt for the ubiquity, but now can't figure out how to flash over
the default load. The sysupgrade utility doesn't work.

Tried Ubiquity (even put in a support ticket, but apparently they
don't monitor their ticket tracker). The most promising thing I can
find is:

10. Installing a new Firmware Image

The ideal system is one that is tailored to meet your needs precisely.
It will output a file in a format that can be understood by our
recovery utility in the boot loader. Look for the image with "ubnt" in
the name. Boot the system in recovery mode by holding the reset switch
for a few seconds while powering on the device. You can then upload
the new firmware to the device using TFTP to the device on the default
IP address, 192.168.1.20.

Ah, OK, well that didn't work. Tried to tftp
openwrt-ar71xx-ubnt-rs-squashfs.bin. The routerstation just gives me
a source port error.

Anyone got a better FM to R?

TIA,

David A. Bandel
