I inherited a Linksys WRT54GS v1.0 running backfire 10.03. I'd like to use it as-is or replace the firmware with a less cutting-edge version.
I don't know the password and cannot contact the previous owner. Web searches seem to indicate that the failsafe mode in this version is broken. Does that mean this router is a brick? Thanks. Tom Reingold Maplewood, NJ, USA
