Hi, this issue is not specific to Openwrt, however i could not find any real solution while googling around.
Basically I have several (5) APs running openwrt. They all broadcast the same ssid and they are all connected to the same switch that in time is connected to the adsl modem/router. After some investigation with wireshark, I realized that some clients switch from one ap to the other very often. The problem is that when the client moves from on AP to the other the captive portal is triggered again and anyway even without the captive portal the performances are not good due to this ping-pong between access point. Is there a way to control, from the AP, the re-association process, e.g. by adding an hysteresis. Thanks R. _______________________________________________ openwrt-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users
