Manao ahoana, Hello, Bonjour, On the WRT54GL device, it is strongly advised to install a 2.4 kernel version before switching to a 2.6 one.
I made it, I installed a "White russian", "boot_wait" is set to "on" and so on. Now, wanting give a try to a "2.6" and reading the docs, I cant figure out what firmware image to download. What folder from http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/8.09.2/ ? I dont want "brcm-2.4/" cause I want a 2.6 kernel, so http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/8.09.2/brcm47xx/openwrt-wrt54g-squashfs.bin should be the one, I guess. Am I right?
