I have just purchased a TP-LINK MR3220 wireless router to use as a data logger with wireless capabilities. I plan to use it to capture/log data from a usb device and send it to a server on the internet. I already have a wireless router that is connected to an ADSL modem for internet access.
What I want to do is transmit the data from logger to the internet via the wifi AP/router. I don't want the the logger to be configured as an AP. I'm guessing I want it configured as STA, WDC or 4-address mode, but I am not familiar with these. Maybe AdHoc is another alternative. I think WDC might be ruled out because I don't want to have to mess around with finding out MAC addresses and configuring them in the various APs, etc. Any suggestions on wireless config settings to achieve this ?? Thanks, Brendan. _______________________________________________ openwrt-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users
