-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Use the saved electricity cost to invest in a router model that is not 10 years old.
Kernel 2.6 on WRT54GL units is instable but a requirement for proper IPv6 firewalling. Kernel 2.4 is stable but does not support IPv6 conntracking. It also has only 4MB flash, 16MB ram and no USB. Get something like a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND or a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH or a Netgear WNDR3700 or WNDR3800. Those units will support your featureset (in some cases by extending the flash rootfs onto a USB attached thumbdrive). ~ Jow -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk+O4KcACgkQdputYINPTPPcXgCfSgSxC0seeVZSuyHgWdIT5Qyw 1QMAniqZAGq+ItaSqIEBokskiRP/cmqb =FD71 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ openwrt-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users
