Hello everyone

I'm trying to get the hang of open wrt and I have some questions

First i'm wondering how I can get curl in open wrt I read somewhere that
its already a package in trunk but I was wondering if there is any way to
install it in backfire
In the forums someone suggested that /etc/pacakges.conf should be modified
(If i remember correctly) and then use opkg to install it
so my question is: Can it be done without using opkg? For example to
install batman developpement version I have to modify feeds.conf. Can it be
done using a similar method?

Second i'm building open wrt and each time the image has 0 free space, I
tried modifying the Root filesystem partition size which is under the
Target Images in menuconfig but it didnt worked
am I missing something?

Third and final: How can open wrt run in qemu and redirect its console
output to a terminal window? I want to be able to copy and paste to/from
the virtual machine but everything I found online suggested that it can be
done only with an external kernel
If this is the only way then how can open wrt be run with an external
kernel?

Thank you very much for your time
