Hi,

I'm using openwrt to get some experience with ipv6. I'm having problems though. When I set up a tunnel (sixxs) everything worked OK. But when I connect it to native ipv6, I seem unable to have routing.
My tunneled setup :
internet---ipv4 router/firewall---wrt54Gx---test-pc

This way I can surf to ipv6 sites.
My native setup :
internet---ipv6 router/firewall---wrt54Gx---test-pc1
                               `--test-pc2

test-pc1 can't access the internet via ipv6. Traceroute6 ends at the wrt54Gx. test-pc2 has no problems connecting the ipv6-internet. Traceroute6 shows all hops to an ipv6 host.

I followed the how-to's on the wiki : enable routing, install and configure radvd. DNS works because I use names of the ipv6 hosts (ipv6.google.com, www.kame.net) to ping6 and traceroute6.
On the WRT54 I can ping6 hosts. I don't remember if I did a traceroute6.
I have the ipv6 firewall installed, configured and enabled, but I also disabled it to test.

I got a /56 subnet from my provider. Between the ipv6 router and the wrt54 I have a /64 subnet and a different /64 subnet between the wrt54 and test-pc1. "ip -6 addr show" shows this. I don't really know what to expect from "ip -6 route show" on the different devices. As I don't have access to the device right now, I can't show.

My hardware is some WRT54G, I think it's a GS. It's running Backfire final. After my tunnel-tests I did a "factory-reset" of the device and started fresh.

Could anyone give some hints where to look, and how ?
The first thing I'm going to do is a traceroute6 on the WRT54. Also I'm going to put a networkhub between the WRT54 and the internet-router so I can sniff what's going on. Any suggestions what to look for ?

Thanks,

Koenraad.
