we use a script on the AP itself that polls for a software update, if it
exists, pulls it down to /tmp
then runs a sysupgrade with saving config files and reboots. I find it
better then pushing to 100's of locations
especially when some might be on dhcp as gateways, and next secondary hops
no longer require a vpn tunnels when polling
