[NOTE: Reposted from Web forum] I'm having a problem just getting an internet connection over a comcast modem, using a TL-WR1043ND running Attitude Adjustment (r30391)
Its been a good while since I've used the TL-wr1043ND and have forgot whatever I might have learned back when I had it working. Currently I've tried several different wan connections: "dhcp client", then tried both strains of "pppoe", and finally "unmanaged" (just in case). I'm not getting an internet connection, but on the LAN side, setting up a wireless lan is working ok. Trying to slog my way thru enough owrt documention has proven to be not all that helpful. No doubt due to most of it being right over my head. None of it appears to describe how to set things up using the web interface. The one link that is supposed to lead to info about it proved to be really confusing. The docu has so many links and general stuff it seems just a mass of garbled text to my pea brain. Can anyone coach me a bit on just a basic internet connection over a comcast cable modem using a TL-WR1043ND. From what I remember that particular router is supposed to be one of the favorites for running owrt. I'm including a link to several screen shots showing various pages from the router interface and my settings there on. Screen grabs of: Network/interfaces Network/Interfaces/wan... edit Status-overview Browser interface screen grab Maybe someone can tell what I'm doing wrong or give a few ideas of things to try. _______________________________________________ openwrt-users mailing list https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-users
