Hi All,

I see that IBSS-RSN encryption, i.e. PSK encryption for adhoc mode, is now
part of OpenWRT Attitude Adjustment, at least for the atheros and ar71xx
radios I've tested so far, using their respective mac80211 drivers. That's
fantastic!

Will a similar encryption be possible for MBSS, aka 802.11s mesh modes, for
either the atheros or ar71xx platforms? Or are there underlying protocol /
hardware limitations that prevent this?

My attempt to enable encryption in mesh on a OM1P atheros radio, using
freshly compiled trunk r36225, didn't launch an instance of wpa-supplicant
on the wlan0 interface (as happens with adhoc mode). The encryption did
successfully turn on when I used "mode adhoc" instead.

Thanks.
