I have quite a few dlink dir 615 E1 and E3 and i have them working without problems since OpenWrt Attitude Adjustment 12.09-rc1 r35241. In fact more stable than the Dir 615 c1 as for example for leds.
Yet; the wiki is not updated with these models. http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-615 More important is that we have no profile selection in menuconfig when we work with buildroot. The wiki points to: (Works with DIR-600 rev. A1 firmware)*, LEDs should work since ...) And i confirm it .Using DIR-600 rev. A1 firmware does work flawlessly (so far) at least until r38621. I have at least one E3 working on my mesh for almost 1 year without problems and i have tested others while building firmware. Is there a specific reason why we do not have these models available for selection when we do make menuconfig ?
