I am running trunk build (on recommendation) on a TP-WR1043ND v1.11. When
wired, all will work perfectly fine. And on wireless, if I'm right next to the
router, it will be fine too. But if I move away from it, say one room, I will
lose 10mbps on speed, and another room's length, another 10. If I am sitting in
my living room, as I usually am, speed will be about 20-25 mbps, rather than
the 50 I get wired/close to the router wireless.

I am currently running it in 40MHz mode, G+N Mixed, WPA2 AES, but 20MHz doesn't
make a difference in the speed loss from small distances. I've reset the router
to it's defaults multiple times, and tried different trunk versions as they
become available, but the results are the same. The TX/RX rate shows as
150mbit/s, though that sometimes dips for a few moments. (Bitrate shows about
80)

One thing I am unable to test, however, if it's a hardware issue on the
computer's side, as I do not have another wireless PC to try it on. I am
wondering if maybe someone else has had an issue like this with the router
first though.

If anyone has any recommendations, it would be much appreciated.
