Hi, I'm new to openwrt. So far I've managed to flash openwrt 12.09 on TL-wdr4300 using the official imagaes as well as selfmade ones from git repo.
But I failed to boot it via network (dnsmasq) following this howto http://wiki.openwrt.org/inbox/netboot I don't have a serial console attached to see whats going on. Before I post details what I've tried exactly I just want to confirm some basics: 1. Are these gzipped uImages (openwrt-ar71xx-generic-uImage-gzip.bin) the right ones for that box? 2. Should the original vendor firmware also work? 3. After having openwrt factory installed the bootloader is still the original one, right? 4. I see the bootloader does a dhcp request.
