Hi, I'm searching for ways to connect a router with a dynamic IPv4 address from a ISP or behind a NAT44 on such an internet connection with a server which has one public v4 address and a global v6 /64 network.
I do not want to use a tunnel broker like sixxs or HE, I want to set up my own relay/tunnel/gateway. Things I found so far seem not to work. I have found no documentation how to configure a Linux System to relay v6 traffic which comes from i.e. 6in4 tunnel. miredo seems not to work as an option, because it requires TWO public v4 address, which are atm out of scope. My last thought (which I have not tested yet) is to set up a VPN between the server and the router, and apply only v6 addresses to the vpn-interface, and give clients behind the router v6 addresses only. Am I missing other options or is the vpn my last hope? Thanks for advice!
