I have set up 12.09 and used Luci web interface on a WDR4300 and one things seems wrong. When I ping a LAN only address, 192.168.1.1, I should get no answer since I have nothing alive at that address, but I get one. Traceroute shows it is from outside coming from the upstream ethernet going to the internet provider, two of their routers and one is from another town! -- then someone's 192.168.1.1, not mine.
I had not expected this from default. What should I change in the Luci UI to stop that? I use DHCP and the firewall was left at default. The format of the Luci firewall is foreign to me. Is there a guide for using that UI? Is it better to just ssh in and use the iptables firewall file directly?
