perusing the firmware generation phase for my tp-link ac1750, and
noticed the two tp-link firmware generation source files:
* mktplinkfw.c
* mktplinkfw2.c
while the latter claims to support something called "v2", it's git
history shows just a single checkin back in 2013, while the former is
the one that appears to be actively maintained, and a corresponding
commit from back in 2013 reads "remove v2 support".
so what's the rationale for both of these utilities? i can see in my
build that both are compiled, but it's not clear what the distinction
is.
