My /dev/sda1 overlay partition is being mounted with default options, it seems. I tried adding 'noatime' to both /etc/config/fstab on /dev/sda1 as well as the original /dev/mntblock3 filesystems, but nothing happens.
My dmesg says:

No options. /etc/config/fstab on external overlay and internal overlay:
...
config mount
option uuid '94906001-a6ff-4786-98ba-0601ce71dc24'
option target '/overlay'
option enabled '1'
option options 'noatime,nodiratime'
...
[Hmm... I am wondering if noatime is unnecessary on /overlay since
overlayfs:/overlay is configured with noatime. I guess that is a
different question, though.]
