Hi Thomas! Somewhere you wrote, that if you use the command line for this, that is working. For me that means something wrong around /etc/rc.d At that point where setup is fired up, something does not work. You could try out fire up your command from /etc/rc.local
OFF: I have similar experience, when I'm try to suppress all about IPv6. I'm try to set sysctl but no result, if I use command line it is working. I have tried /etc/rc.local, also does not work.
