Hello Patrick,

Non core packages got a reboot at https://github.com/openwrt/packages . All
non-adopted packages are still at http://git.openwrt.org/?p=packages.git
but they are not build by default for current OpenWRT builds. Lirc is there.

If you want lirc in OpenWRT, you can become its maintainer and migrate it
to github.
