It was actually me being an idiot. The minidlna package has a dependency on some form of ffmpeg build and won’t show until an ffmpeg build was selected. I’ve now got that working using https://github.com/Emeryth/openwrt-zsun but I have an interesting other problem with my build. Thanks so much for getting back to me though, I really appreciate it. On the stock firmware if I insert a micro-sd card I can see but not mount the drive. I have to use the app to go and set the work mode so it can mount the drive in wifi sharing mode, otherwise it stays on the PC USB drive mode. On OpenWRT I can mount the drive and list files, but when I try to access them there is a USB disconnect. I’m not sure if this is down to the USB multimode mechanism. Has anyone else got SD cards to work successfully with their own OpenWRT images?
