OpenWRT is probably dead. If you want support, you should probably try LEDE:

The first thing you should do is try a current OpenWRT DD or LEDE nightly build and see if that fixes the issue. If not, open a LEDE bug. Also try to reproduce the problem with any other USB device to prove that it's not just a specific issue to that camera.

Sounds like it could be a USB driver problem.
