Dunno whether it’s any use to you, but I set up remote logging on DD and
capture the logs with a rsyslog listener.
I get quite current logs, but sometimes events seem to be out of turn. I’ve not
bothered to work out why.
On the router end, add and option to config system in /etc/config/system:
option log_ip <ip on which syslog is listening>
