Thank you, will see your new patch on Monday.

Meanwhile you can reproduce the problem very easily.
Just initiate a new CSR with Greek characters "alpha beta gamma delta" 
(decode them to utf8 with any command-line utility if not using utf-8 
capable editor) in the field of DN.
During subsequent manipulations with this CSR via web interface, I see 
garbage instead of Greek
