Hi Julia,after Alex fixed a bug in the inheritance I completed the tests of the remaining XS changes. I think the XS stuff is now clean. I removed char_ptr, uchar_ptr and the macro SAFEFREE completely. The only interesting stuff actually is the bad performance of 25_crypto/31_object_x509. The code itself works.
