Hi Sergei, first of all please apologize my missing answer to your last message. I have not forgotten it - the questions raised are just not that easy to cover...
You rightfully raised some concerns I did not have in mind when I modified vergen. I agree we need to find a sensible way to support the FreeBSD Ports and nightly builds. However, I also sincerely wish to finally get rid of SVN entirely. My efforts were geared towards supporting Git and neglecting SVN, knowing that we will eventually ditch it. I didn't mean to break things for the FreeBSD Ports. > The task mentioned in my point 4 of the previous message (see below) > could be solved in the following way. ... > 1) We update a local clone (or snapshot - whichever you like), > go to the directory ..../openxpki/trunk/deployment > and (using "find" and "ls" unix tools) obtain a date (and maybe time) > of the last modification of files under this directory. ... > Adjusting of our script to this mechanism is easy. > What do you think of the idea? I think this is a really good idea and will solve our immediate problem nicely. Hey, it's called a nightly snapshot for a reason, isn't it? Thank you very much for your effort in finding a solution. cu Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BlackBerry® DevCon Americas, Oct. 18-20, San Francisco, CA Learn about the latest advances in developing for the BlackBerry® mobile platform with sessions, labs & more.
