Hi, I wanted to use the SQL data type "BLOB" for our new column "session_serialized" in the workflow-table. But the OXI-database layer does not support this type.
So I switched to "LONGTEXT" - which does work also. But maybe - in future - this column will contain real binary data ... not the "simple" Text-Structure from OpenXPKI::SimpleSerializer. Does it make sense to implement "BLOB" as supported datatype beside of "LONGTEXT"? Do all supported databases know this type?
