Hi Oliver,I have submitted a FreeBSD port for version openxpki-i18n-0.14.0.1 taken from the master branch.
FreeBSD testing cluster reports, that for some hardware architecturesit sees fatal errors and warnings during building of .mo files from .po files.
Example:
ru_RU/openxpki.po:503: end-of-file within string msgmerge: found 1 fatal error gmake[2]: *** [ru_RU/openxpki.po] Error 1 gmake[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... ru_RU/openxpki.po:78: warning: internationalized messages should not contain the '\r' escape sequenceIt is next to impossible to argue with a testing robot, as it operates with bullet-proof default configurations which are in very heavy daily use.
For the architectures which I am able to lay hands on, I do not see fatal errors, only warnings.
Still, as far as I can see, the fatal error comes from the use of a pair of symbols \" in Russian translation. Also, warnings come from the occasional use of \r\n group of symbols instead of \n group of symbols in all 3 translations.
Attached file contains fixed version of all 3 translations with corrections as specified below.
Here I edited translations taken from today's development branch.Could you please help me and prepare a new "release" on master branch with these corrections, of maybe you prefer to teach me to do it myself.
I would appreciate a development of this issue, as at the moment we have a pending case in the FreeBSD bug tracker.
All the best, Sergei ============================================ In file ru_RU/openxpki.po 1) remove all groups of two symbols: \" 2) remove all groups of two symbols: \r ============================================ In files de_DE_RU/openxpki.po en_GB/openxpki.po remove all groups of two symbols: \r ============================================ I've linked 1 file to this email:* develop-i18n.zip (124 KB) hosted on Box: https://www.box.com/shared/i3mxsm81hoqlzcpminbu
