Hello Gaetan, basically the i18n stuff should do. I am not aware of the current state of the snapshots and the git head, but at least the debian packages at packages.openxpki.org are working.
The code internally uses gettext and sets the language environment to LC_*=en_US.utf8 - can you check if you have the utf8 locale installed (have a look at the output of "locale -a | grep en_US" on a shell). If this does not help, try to set the locale in the config to "C".
