As Martin said, the master branch should always have the most current "official release" and we create a tag on those releases what is exactly the view you mentioned above. So if you want to provide a FreeBDS Build, checkout the current master and build it. I would recommend that you submit any changes you need (e.g. build files, etc) as patches so we can include them into the official repository. It should be possible that we create a new release that simply builds on all plattforms. Note that we are currently moving very fast - the Mason Frontend will be dropped within the next weeks and replaced with a new UI based on FastCGI. We also plan to build a package that includes its own perl + deps for debian and suse, so we no longer need to mess around with operating systems perl versions and issues. If you can handle that a better way on FreeBSD, just go for it.
