sorry for the late reply but I was busy preparing the next release ;)

Use the workflow search and check if the workflow was even startet, if
so check where it crashed and use the "History" link  on the right to
look for error messages.

If this doesnt provide any hint, you check the logs if there is any
better error message (webui.log and openxpki.log).

* Permissions of the key file (must be readable by the openxpki user)
* wrong name/location of the file
* wrong password
