Some time ago we had planned to integrate OpenXPKI and CertNanny with Kerberos in order to solve the initial enrollment authentication problem for Unix and Windows environment. This project did not take off and hence no development was done on this topic. What you are seeing are the last remains of that project. Apologies that this caused some confusion.
