Hello Sergei,

the current release 2.3 still needs openca-tools if you want to run an
SCEP server using the default configuration. However the code is still
ready to use LibSCEP https://github.com/openxpki/libscep instead of
openca-tools by changing some configuration values.

As a preparation for the upgrade to Debian Buster / OpenSSL 1.1 we will
very likely switch the default configuration to LibSCEP with the next
release 2.4 while keeping the old code for openca-tools in place to not
break existing deployments.

I would appreciate if you follow this road and package LibSCEP for FreeBSD.
