Dear OpenXPKI Fellows, as announced three weeks ago we want to move to docker to help you running OpenXPKI on your favorite Linux distro.
We have just tagged and uploaded OpenXPKI 2.4 which brings mainly improvements for our automated interfaces and changes logging and startup behaviour to better cooperate with docker. So I am happy to announce our first "official" docker release! Dockerfile and a docker-compose.yaml are available in the docker/ directory of our repository https://github.com/openxpki/openxpki/tree/master/docker. The container is based on debian jessie and uses the debian packages. A prebuild image is also available via docker hub as "whiterabbitsecurity/openxpki". As we are not the docker experts there is surely space for improvement - feedback and contributions are welcome! Please consider this being a first draft for testing and exploring but do not use this in production as we will very likely change things in a way that might break! best regards Oliver -- Protect your environment - close windows and adopt a penguin!
