Hello,

We are using a Debian Jessie based OpenXPKI installation. Now we would
like to migrate this installation to OpenXPKI v3. For the upgrade to
OpenXPKI v3, I found a section in the docs [1] that references the
openxpki-config repository. The file [2] mentions database changes.

Is there an automated way of doing these database migrations? If I
change the old database scheme manually, is it enough to add the columns
and leave NULL-values in existing datasets like it is done in the v2
migration script in [1]? Is there something else I have to consider when
doing the upgrade?

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Paul
