Thats semi-correct - I tried it but failed about 2 years ago but I did
not investigate further. Basically I was not able to compile some of the
perl modules that use XS bindings.

If you really want to run OpenXPKI on a "minimal" platform - we had one
running as a PoC during the last it-sa on an AMD based Micro-PC with a
"Disk on Module" which was less than 200 Euros.

Only thing to remind: Those devices do not have a hardware random source
so you might get not-so-good random numbers which MIGHT be a problem
when generating keys or other relevant numbers on the box.
