Hello, OK, I am still in the process of installing OpenXPKI on Debian 10. Step Production/Issuing CA Token. Today I have upgraded some packages with apt upgrade: Setting up openxpki-i18n (3.12.0-0) ... Setting up openxpki-cgi-session-driver (3.12.0-0) ... Setting up libworkflow-perl (1.54-1) ... Setting up libjson-maybexs-perl (1.004003-1) ... Setting up libcrypt-pkcs10-perl (2.002-1) ... Setting up libcryptx-perl (0.071-1) ... Setting up libcrypt-x509-perl (0.54-1) ... Setting up libcrypt-argon2-perl (0.010-1) ... Setting up libconnector-perl (1.37-1) ... Setting up libcrypt-jwt-perl (0.023-1) ... Setting up libopenxpki-perl (3.12.0-0) ...
And after that my installation seems to become broken: root@server:/etc/openxpki/config.d/system# openxpkicli get_token_info --arg alias=vault-1 2021/04/30 12:21:15 [ERROR] I18N_OPENXPKI_CLIENT_INIT_CONNECTION_FAILED; __ERROR__ => No such file or directory, __SOCKETFILE__ => /var/openxpki/openxpki.socket 2021/04/30 12:21:15 [ERROR] I18N_OPENXPKI_CLIENT_SEND_RECEIVE_SERVICE_MSG_ERROR_DURING_SEND_SERVICE_MSG; __EVAL_ERROR__ => I18N_OPENXPKI_CLIENT_INIT_CONNECTION_FAILED; __ERROR__ => No such file or directory, __SOCKETFILE__ => /var/openxpki/openxpki.socket I18N_OPENXPKI_CLIENT_SEND_RECEIVE_SERVICE_MSG_ERROR_DURING_SEND_SERVICE_MSG; __EVAL_ERROR__ => I18N_OPENXPKI_CLIENT_INIT_CONNECTION_FAILED; __ERROR__ => No such file or directory, __SOCKETFILE__ => /var/openxpki/openxpki.socket There is no openxpki.socket file in the /var/openxpki/ directory. So, I thought I should start the service: # openxpkictl start Config depend is not set - unable to check config prereq! Hint: Add expected minimum version to 'system.version.depend.core' Starting OpenXPKI Community Edition v3.12.0 OpenXPKI server is not running or does not accept requests. Status check failed ------------- # openxpkiadm version Version (core): 3.12.0 How do I recover from these errors? Is my installation corrupted/dead? What can you suggest, please? Where to obtain DataVault Key and DataVault certificate? Hi, the whole purpose of the PKI Software is to issue certificates with a CA token, so yes you definitly need one. I can not see any problem in the Apache configuration, the two file names are 100% identical.
